Leave it to Christian to instigate a laugh...which I really needed.
The other night we were driving to Salt Lake and Taylor asked Christian how old he was. Christian promptly turns to Ethan and says "E-han, what old are me?" Ethan told him he is five. Christian then responds, "I whyve."
So tonight he and Michael are wrestling on the floor when he looks up at me and says, "we don't have any girls in our family. Except there is a girl in your tummy and we'll call her, ummm, Wizzie (Lizzie, after the 12-year-old neighbor he has a crush on)." "No" I said, there isn't a baby in my tummy, I'm having my period (like he would even get that...but I said it anyway.) Then Taylor said "and I'm having my semi-colon." I'm tired so it took a minute, but once it processed I couldn't stop laughing...

By now Christian and Michael are fighting again; this time over something wrapped in a dish towel. Christian blurts, "No! I'm the mommy and you're the daddy. I'M holding the baby!" They're fighting over Christian's Siberian Husky stuffed animal who, incidentally, is named Crack. Why? As Christian explained to Grandma, "Djat what mommy alway jshay." He was referring to Sara's favorite soft-core expletive, "Crap!" Good thing he was explaining this to Sara's mom.

BTW, I got that from my Mom...that was her word when I was growing up. (The naming of Crack happened while I was on bed-rest at Moms.) "Mirror, mirror on the wall, I am my Mother after all."
Those Semi-colons can be doozies. I don't know how you put up with him, Sarah, during that time of the month.
Tell Christian that Lizzie can hardly wait for their HOT DATE on Friday!
i literally have tears running down my face from laughing. thank you for making such wonderful boys! and funny too. what a breath of fresh air those boys are.
