I am so amazed by this boy. This morning, as we prepared for church, he said, "Daddy taught me how to tie my tie last week." I told him that he might need a few weeks (thinking months) of practice before he had it right. After all, just a couple months ago I had tried teaching him, along with the other cub scouts, how to tie ties. It was not successful! May have been because I've never tied a tie in my life...and it was much more complicated than I thought. I'm not good at knots apparently.
Well, I was wrong. He tied it over and over and over again. I had to document it because I am so proud of him! What a sharp kid! I just can't get over how quickly he learns things, how well he reads and how good he is at math and spelling. He just growing up too quickly. It's bittersweet.
